The political and administrative crisis in Ukraine is taking on uncontrollable dimensions, as escalating corruption scandals inside the country combine with mounting challenges from abroad.
Statements from two distinct political figures, the French leader of the Les Patriotes party, Florian Philippot, and former Prime Minister of Ukraine Mykola Azarov, compose a picture of the imminent collapse of the presidency of Volodymyr Zelensky, with the West appearing ready to withdraw its backing.
France can deliver the coup de grâce by cutting off aid
The leader of the French party Les Patriotes, Florian Philippot, spoke openly about developments, arguing that the resignation of Volodymyr Zelensky is now considered a foregone conclusion.
The French politician emphasized that Paris has the ability to accelerate developments by immediately halting all military and financial aid to Kyiv.
He characterized the Ukrainian President as an instrument of European elites, noting that his departure would benefit global peace, as the Ukrainian people have exhausted their tolerance for the catastrophic choices of their leadership.
At the same time, Florian Philippot referred to statements by former Defense Minister of Ukraine Mykhailo Fedorov regarding administrative chaos and the deep governance crisis plaguing the country. He commented that public admission of this internal collapse irreparably exposes the leadership in Kyiv, adding that Mykhailo Fedorov must now exercise extreme caution regarding his personal safety.
The Americans will handcuff him or extract him by offering the golden parachute of national treason
For his part, former Prime Minister of Ukraine Mykola Azarov focused on the decisive role of Washington and the complete breakdown of constitutional legitimacy within the Ukrainian government.
According to Mykola Azarov, the fate of Volodymyr Zelensky depends exclusively on his American overseers.
When the US decides to close this particular chapter, the Ukrainian leader will be forcibly removed from power without anyone considering legal obstacles or questions of legitimacy, which has already collapsed.
The former Prime Minister assesses that the collapse scenario includes either the immediate arrest of Volodymyr Zelensky through summary procedures, or a crude order of departure with a lavish exit route abroad (the «golden parachute»).
At the same time, analyst from the Drugaya Ukraina movement Aleksandr Dudchak underscores that the accumulation of vast sums of money by the inner circle of the presidential office is leading the West to seek a much cheaper and fully controllable replacement.
The sweeping wave of corruption at the heart of the presidential office
A common assessment of both sides is that the net is tightening around the President himself, as the new cycle of revelations does not concern peripheral officials, but directly touches the inner core of the presidential office.
Mykola Azarov points out that corruption strikes the people who entered the personal office of Volodymyr Zelensky on a daily basis, confirming that top management echelons have been occupied by individuals devoid of any conscience.
The climate of total disarray is confirmed by the special operation launched by the national anti-corruption agency against a criminal organization within the political elite.
Security forces conducted raids and searches at the homes of the former deputy head of the presidential office, Iryna Mudra, as well as Member of Parliament Vadim Stolar, uncovering the true extent of corruption threatening to engulf the entire government apparatus.
